Today is D day but no sign of Chloe!

We have counted down, waiting eagerly for the day to arrive but when the day had arrived, there is no sign of intense or super strong contraction, show or even water bag bursting. I actually felt a little pressured and disappointed but nevertheless, have convinced myself with the help of my lao gong that God has His best timing, hence will continue to wait upon the Lord.
Went to see my gynae yesterday for the 40th week visit, the last visit I thought. However, didnt get quite pleseant news after the checkup. He mentioned that my cervix is not open and henceforth we can wait till the most up to nxt Sat. After that, the placenta may decrease in efficiency. Well, he also mentioned about caserean which I think prepares me just in case I need one.
I was so down after the gynae checkup. It has been a smooth pregnancy for me and I have always thought I will give birth naturally and smoothly by God's grace......
Well, we discussed and prayed about it. We'll submit to God's will and direction. Going for a blood test tmr, which is needed for caserean. We'll also enquire more about caserean and continue to wait. Shld there still be no signal from Chloe, we'll go ahead with caserean.
Afterall, cervix is not open, bb's head is not engaged and bb is quite big. This worries me that even if I would to wait, the ultimate God's will will still be caserean or worse off emergency caserean.
So let's keep our fingers cross and wait upon the Lord.
Hopefully, by the nxt post, I'll be able to introduce our little princess.
No matter which route bb will use to arrive, I trust and submit to the Lord that We'll be fine! Amen.
